Al Capone

Alphonse Gabriel "Al" Capone (January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947) was an American gangster who attained fame during the Prohibition Era as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit.

Capone was one of the slickest mobsters of his time. However, because he was so careful with his work and was able to bribe corrupt judges and police officers, he avoided multiple arrests. Federal investigators became intent on bringing him down.

The law finally caught up with Capone after 7 years. He was charged with tax evasion, incarcerated, and later imprisoned.
